Okay, how is it that I was vaguely aware of the new Star Trek movie without freaking out? I've been going on a Star Trek binge since this past weekend when I watched all of the trailers for the new movie. I'm now sporting a Star Trek background and watching two different Star Trek series (ds9 and the Original Series).

I'm keeping a death count because of a running joke with my friends and I (the lowest ranking red shirt always dies.

Things I have noticed:
- The first and second people to EVER die were both blue-shirted scientists.
- I've watched 13 episodes of TOS and only one red-shirt has died.
- Spock has really skinny ankles (delicate, I dare say).
- I miss Chekof (he's not in any of the episodes I've watched)
- The uniforms change colors. Uhura was wearing red in one episode and switched to yellow for a short time (randomly), the same thing happened to Spock (only it was blue to yellow).
- The guy who plays Spock's dad also played a Romulan that was destroying surveillance stations.
- Spock likes to yell and be emotional (just watch the first episode aired). It was hilarious.

In other news, I'm working on two commissions. One is a Ravenclaw scarf (blue and bronze) and the other is a cobalt colored scarf I'm doing a tradsie for with my friend (she does glass-work, she's making me a pendant). I think I might be able to finish the blue on before I get back, but that'll only be if I don't work on the Ravenclaw one at all, which probably isn't going to happen.

I need to crack my textbooks soon or the point of bringing them will be lost. I'll probably focus on Psych because that's the only class I'm having issues with other than English. I need to work on some of the writing assignments I'm behind on.

It'll get done, I'm just suffering from acute Senioritis.
